46家國銀明天同步開辦人民幣

    央行今天宣布，明天共有四十六家國內外匯指定銀行及境外金融機構正式開辦人民幣業務。

    央行說明，一月二十八號核准中國銀行台北分行為台灣地人民幣清算行，及一月三十號會同中銀台北辦理人民幣業務說明會後，國內外匯指定銀行及境外金融機構與中銀台北簽清算協議並完成開戶手續的家數，到二月五號中午為止已有四十六家，自明天正式開辦人民幣業務，以服務社會大眾並符合國人於農曆年前開辦的期待。

    至於台灣銀行上海分行初期在大陸地區辦理的新台幣現鈔買賣業務，央行已於一月四號許可，大陸外管局也在二月四號核准理現鈔入出境。台銀正著手進行運鈔作業，待取得大陸外管局的「零售審批」許可，即可開辦新台幣現鈔買賣業務。
