端午節活動多，台中大遠百明(8)日至9日，連續兩天在9樓廚具家用區7個櫃位舉辦「免費古早味粽子DIY活動」，下午2點開始現場報名，每個櫃位限15位參加，可分別體驗貴妃栗粽、傳統甜味粽、八寶粽、魷魚客家粽等做法，還可將自己做好的粽子帶回家。

台中南屯老街也舉辦踩木屐活動，6/12上午9點在萬和宮前廣場展開，為號召民眾穿木屐踩街，6/10前報名，提供千雙木屐可免費領取。
