1月28日，兩輛叮叮車經過市中心的聖保羅大教堂。墨爾本擁有250公里雙軌線路的全球最大電車網絡，每年運載約兩億人次。其中，35路城市免費巡迴觀光電車（Free City Circle Tram）是旅遊者最不能錯過的旅遊項目之一。免費巡迴觀光電車，也稱叮叮車，按順時針和逆時針兩個方向行駛，七、八個站，線路總長約10公里，每12分鐘一班，行駛一圈約45分鐘。逢節假日，車上會有導遊免費為乘客介紹沿途景點，發放旅遊信息資料，而平日則會用錄音廣播代替。叮叮車身幾十年來一直保持復古的紅豆色和青瓜色，車廂內設計也很有懷舊感，使人聯想起澳大利亞的歷史。新華社
