【周昭平／高雄報導】高市府爭取市民免費進入澄清湖遊憩終獲同意！今天上午市府與澄清湖主管機關、台灣自來水公司簽約，本月18日上午6時起正式開放高雄市民免費進入澄清湖觀光遊覽，為兼顧水源地安全，初期每天限制最多5千人免費入園。

市府表示，澄清湖風景區是高雄重要景點，但也是水源地，在兼顧水源安全前提下，爭取水公司同意市民免費入園，市府未來3年內每年投入超過3千萬經費，加強園區綠化、景觀設施改善、完備交通接駁與治安維護，整體改造澄清湖風景區成為高雄觀光新亮點。
