彰化市公所觀光導覽志工隊成軍授旗，由市長邱建富授旗，頒發證書後，隨即進行導覽服務工作。

「彰化市公所觀光導覽志工隊」29日在元清觀前廣場正式成立，並舉行授旗儀式。市長邱建富表示，今後外縣市到彰化的遊客，或是接待到彰化遊玩的市民，只要人數在10人以上，都可以享有免費導覽的深度旅遊，認識彰化古蹟名勝，不再是走馬看花而已。
邱市長頒發聘書給隊員，並為志工隊授旗，由隊長池秉松接受。授旗儀式結束，在現場的導覽志工作了首次的導覽解說，由到場的市代林榮堯、黃玉芬和與會來賓為遊客，進行一場精彩又豐富的導覽解說，協助推動觀光行銷、提升旅遊品質。
邱建富指出，彰化市擁有16處古蹟及多處饒富人文氣息的歷史建築，也有追星族喜愛的電影場景，以及名聞遐邇的在地特色小吃，加上139縣道沿途風光明媚、精緻酪農休閒產業盛行，整個城市的觀光資源相當豐富宛如大型戶外博物館。
成軍後的40位導覽志工將自102年8月份起，分組提供平日及假日免費導覽解說服務，初期提供4條建議旅遊路線供遊客選擇，凡10人(含)以上團體皆可免費申請，於參訪前7日填具申請表向彰化市公所觀光產業課預約。
目前排定四條觀光導覽路線有：
(1)八卦山大佛區、文學步道、生活美學館、綠色環境學習營地、軍機公園、藝術館、紅毛井、1895史蹟館、武德殿、節孝祠。
(2)彰化火車站、扇形車庫、小西特色街巷。
(3)孔廟、古月民俗館、元清觀、開化寺、西門福德祠、聖王廟、關
帝廟。
(4)南瑤宮、鄭成功廟、媽祖文化館、集樂軒、慶安宮、城隍廟。
有意申請單位，可至彰化市公所網站下載申請表，或利用傳真辦理申請手續。服務完全免費，市公所僅提供志工導覽解說服務，個人或團體請自行安排交通工具並辦理旅遊平安險。
