嘉縣赴偏鄉免費施打狂犬疫苗

嘉義縣家畜疾病防治所將從2月26日開始，陸續在阿里山鄉等山區及偏遠地區免費為民眾愛犬(貓)注射狂犬病疫苗。嘉義縣家畜所表示，狂犬病毒可藉由唾液透過傷口傳播病毒給溫血動物，而近來中國大陸及印尼等國發生人感染狂犬病致死案例，呼籲民眾若家中有貓、狗出生滿3個月，或狂犬病預防注射超過一年以上者，應儘速完成預防注射，確保人畜生命財產安全。
