蘋果電腦於美國舊金山發表會中，首先曝光的是全新Mac OS X作業系統，內建的Safari瀏覽器提供更多功能，包括將地圖與行事曆整合，也可在Mac電腦上先規畫路徑，再與iPhone同步，而且這套Mac OS X作業系統提供即日起免費下載。

另在Mac硬體部分，蘋果發表了13吋MacBook Pro，採用英特爾第4代Core i5處理器、Retina螢幕及128GB SSD，建議售價1299美元；15吋MacBook Pro則採用英特爾Crystalwell處理器，建議售價1999美元。另MacPro桌機也升級，可支援4K影片顯示與編輯，建議售價2999美元起，預計12月上市。
