比丘尼罹癌發願 蓋免費老人院

苗栗三灣鄉一位比丘尼，因為罹患血癌，發願要蓋一座老人院，她花了20年時間，好不容易募到1億元，利用善心人士捐的5千坪面積土地，在山區蓋了一座老人村，提供500位65歲以上的老人，免費入住，安享晚年。

一大清早，在佛堂裡，就有不少老人家，念著佛經，這裡沒有華麗裝潢，也沒有舒適傢俱，還得要遵循寺裡的作息，凌晨4點半起床，晚上8點半就寢，卻吸引很多阿公阿嬤，搶著入住，打開房門，裡頭只有一張床、一個櫃子，設備簡單，不過已經全部住滿。，隔壁新的老人院，加緊趕工。

幕後推手是她，63歲的比丘尼，法號「釋悟成」。

20年前她被診斷出罹患血癌，當時發願要蓋老人村，「釋悟成」好不容易募到1億元，利用善心人士捐出的5千坪土地，在山區蓋老人村，提供500位65歲以上的老人家免費入住。

除了基本食宿，老人村裡還有修行道場，比丘尼善心發願，讓更多經濟窘困、沒有兒女照顧的長輩，能有一個棲身之所，修身養性，安享晚年。(民視新聞邱俊超苗栗報導)
