台灣將出現首家納入文創的百貨公司。明(23)日在台中金典綠園道商場7樓開幕的「勤美文創聚落LAB」，是全台首家將文創設入百貨的商家，開幕當天會免費發送設計師設計的100份小點心，而學生只要預約就可免費體驗文創區活動，由專人負責導覽，但若非學生，就只能走馬看花囉。
100坪空間涵蓋服裝、產品設計、雕塑、攝影、繪畫與裝置區，由顏寧志、莊騏鴻、許廷瑞、劉耀中、賴冠仲等5組藝術設計團隊進駐，商場企畫朱茜儀表示：「藝術家將駐店設計作品，主要供商場裝置使用，7月起還會販售設計作品。」
